Kintegra
Kintegra Movement Method is a practical system of kinetic exploration.
Kintegra has developed out of the Western Movement Tradition of Dance and movement analysis. It has strong similarities to Qigong and Yoga but it is based on the working practices of a contemporary dance artist who has created this training over a period of three decades teaching and performing throughout the world.
Kintegra works with the basic premise that good movement is achieved through a physical understanding of Shape/ Flow patterning and appropriate anatomical structure. The experience of movement derives from three modes of attention.
1. Practical Compound Locomotion.
2. Elastic Tension Circuits.
3. Deep Mind Energy Web.
Kintegra explores the interrelationship between these elements. It focuses on mind/ body interaction, inner planes and outer surfaces of the body, dynamic musculoskeletal geometries and the essential kinetic integration of movement.
