CAROLINE McINNES
Sports & Postural Therapist / Pilates Tutor
Caroline McInnes is the co-founder of the Dragonfly Clinic specialising in sports injury rehabilitation and postural realignment.
Caroline graduated from the Université de Savoie, France in 2000 and began working within the mountain sports industry, organising walking and cycling tours throughout northern Italy & France. She was also closely involved with winter sports working with some of the leading snowboard and ski holiday companies in Europe.
Qualifying as a Sports Therapist in 2004 she has worked in London and Brighton gaining a great deal of experience in sport massage from treating both amateur and professional athletes across a variety of sporting backgrounds.
Previously a member of a Contemporary Dance Company and a keen runner, Caroline successfully completed the London Marathon in 2007 and currently holds an amateur running club in Brighton.
Caroline teaches studio Pilates and mat Pilates beginning her training in 2005 with Body Control, working closely with co-founders Gordon Thompson and Helge Fisher in their respective London and Brighton based studios. She then continued into the specialised field of Studio Rehabilitation Pilates, training with the Polestar UK team of osteopaths, physiotherapy specialists in London.
Opening Dragonfly Clinic as an independent Clinic in Brighton in 2009, Caroline has built a team of practitioners offering high level sports and occupational injury treatment through osetopathy and sports massage, nutritional therapy for health and sport as well as Pilates, core conditioning classes and postural assessment.
